Update on Anthony Ogogo celebrations

The final touches are still being made to the plans for Tuesday's special celebrations in Lowestoft Town Centre of Anthony Ogogo's medal winning achievements at the London 2012 Olympics.
A stage will be erected outside the BHS store in London Road North and a band will be performing, along with a roadshow from The Beach radio station from 3pm on Tuesday (August 21). There will also be some street entertainers to keep everyone happy.
Lowestoft's very own sporting hero, Anthony Ogogo, bronze medallist in the middleweight boxing division, will arrive at the stage at 5pm in a convertible Cadillac car which will leave from Station Square before going up London Road North to take him to the event.
The afternoon's celebrations are being put together by the Lowestoft Charter Trustees, Lowestoft Town Centre Partnership and Waveney District Council, with generous assistance and support from The Beach and BHS among others.
