Nought to 60 in four days!

As Waveney gets set for a fantastic Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, the Waveney Chairman and Lowestoft Mayor are supporting communities around the district by trying to visit as many events as possible.
Their target over the four days is 60 events to mark the Queen's 60 glorious years on the throne!
Throughout Waveney, communities are organising street parties and events to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee, with the fun kicking off next Saturday June 2nd and continuing through a double bank holiday to Tuesday June 5th. Both Cllrs Collecott and Sullivan felt it would be a great idea to get out and see a district celebrate up close.
They said: "This is a wonderful time with the country coming together to celebrate - and Waveney is no different. We know that our communities are really getting the party spirit and we would love to support their efforts by joining them wherever and whenever we can across the Bank Holiday weekend?"
