Re-appointment of Chairman and deputy Chairman

At the Annual Council Meeting on Wednesday evening, appointments for the forthcoming civic year were made.
Cllr Peter Collecott, Independent Member for the Oulton ward, was re-appointed as Chairman of the Council for a second year.
Meanwhile, Cllr Paul Light, Conservative Member for the Carlton Colville ward, was also re-elected as deputy Chairman.
A range of appointments were also made to the various Council committees and the meeting also saw Cllr Tod Sullivan welcomed as the new Leader of the Labour Group.
