Community Development
Making people heard
Each member of the Community Development Team champions a particular 'Hard to Hear' group to ensure the aims and objectives of the team service plan is met.
A 'Hard to Hear' group is a term sometimes used to describe those sections of the community that are difficult to involve in public participation. These include young people; older people; disabled people; lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people; black and minority ethnic; socially deprived; and faith groups. Each of these groups have a dedicated officer.
