How can I find out what information the Council holds about me?
The Data Protection Act allows you to find out what information about you is held on computer and in some paper records. This is called the right of subject access.
Requests for personal information can be made by completing the relevant Subject Access Request form and returning it with two forms of ID and the fee of £10 to Waveney District Council.
You can take the form, with your evidence and fee, to the Customer Service Centre (temporarily relocated to):

Alternatively, you can post your completed form, evidence of ID and fee to:

How long will a request take?
Under the Data Protection Act, we must respond to your request within 40 calendar days.
This time period does not start until we have received all information required to process your request.
Can I see all the information held by the Council about me?
We aim to provide as much information as we can, however there may be some exemptions to the release of this information, if this is the case, we will let you know.
