CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering
Food safety law requires all food handlers to be trained/supervised according to their food handling work activities. To help businesses ensure that employees are trained, Waveney and Suffolk Coastal district councils jointly run a nationally recognised training course - the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (this qualification replaces the former Foundation and Basic courses).
Successful completion of the course provides a qualification awarded by the CIEH, which is the leading awarding body for food safety, health and safety and environmental qualifications.
CIEH qualifications are accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. You can use the CIEH online course finder to find out about other CIEH registered training centres and courses.
