The appeals process
There are two stages to the appeals process.
Firstly, you must write to the Council at the address below stating which decision you are unhappy with and the reasons why you are unhappy with the decision. The Council may then write to you to obtain further information. The Council has two months in which to consider your representations and advise you of its decision.

If you are still not happy with the decision or you do not hear from the Council within two months then you have the right to appeal to the Valuation Tribunal. You must do this within two months of receiving the Council's decision or four months from when you lodged your original appeal with the Council.
