Prior notification of a home extension - The Government has introduced new legislation to remove the need for planning permission for some rear home extensions and introduced a new process. |Increase in fee for some Prior Notifications from 1 August 2014
The application fee for change of use from shops and financial and professional services, or from agricultural buildings to a dwelling house with associated building operations is £172 from 1 August 2014. Where there are no associated buildings operations the fee is still £80.
