Waveney District Council has pulled together various sources of
statistical information to produce a Socio-Economic Demographic
Database for the Waveney District.
The database has been refreshed to reflect the most up to date
available statistics. The tables have been updated to include the
new population estimates (2006), estimates of broad ethnic group
representation in the district (2005) and estimates of
international migration (2002-2006) from Office of National
Statistics. Unemployment figures for Waveney have also been
updated.
This single source of data will be used by officers across the
Council and has also been made available to the public here.
Information sources that have been utilised include the Primary
Care Trust, the Office of National Statistics and data from the
Census (2001).
The Council’s Corporate Policy Team will regularly maintain the
database to ensure that it remains up to date.
This service supports the Authority in its Community Leadership
role, by providing businesses in the district with an easy to use,
pre-sourced database of key information about Waveney, its
residents and its socio-economic environment.
The information is divided into categories and where possible,
relevant information has been grouped. Each page includes a
link back to the contents
page.
