Councillor Wendy Mawer, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration will help
present the awards in May. Commenting on the event she said: “To
excel in sport takes dedication, from both the athletes themselves
and those that support and nurture their talents. This event is a
fantastic opportunity to recognise Waveney’s sporting heroes and
celebrate their achievements. We would like to encourage all those
who know somebody working or training hard for their sport to fill
in a nomination form.”
