New Cabinet confirmed with an executive team taking up Portfolio
roles that reflect the strategic priorities of the
authority
Cllr Mark Bee has confirmed the make-up of his new Cabinet
with an executive team taking up Portfolio roles that reflect the
strategic priorities of the authority. Meanwhile, Cllr Colin Law
has been confirmed as Deputy Leader of the Council.
Cllr Bee said: “The new structure is designed with one thing in
mind – to reflect our strategic priorities and make this authority
better equipped to deliver the very highest standard of services to
residents and communities.
“Chief Executive Stephen Baker is making the right changes at
management level and it is my responsibility to get an able team of
Councillors in place to work closely with the senior management
team and improve services.”
The following appointments have now been confirmed:
· Leader – Councillor Mark Bee
· Deputy Leader – Councillor Colin Law
· Community Safety – Councillor Mary Rudd
· Customer Access – Councillor Simon Tobin
· Environment – Councillor Ken Sale
· Health & Wellbeing – Councillor Stephen Ardley
· Housing – Councillor Bruce Provan
· Performance – Councillor Chris Punt
· Regeneration – Councillor Wendy Mawer
The first meeting of the new Cabinet takes place this Thursday, May
29, at Lowestoft Town Hall, commencing
6.30pm.
