Waveney District Council is committed to informing stakeholders about the services it provides, how well those services are performing and how public money is spent.

The Council publishes its financial plans for the year as part of its annual Budget and Council Tax-setting process, with summary budget information being published in the Council Tax Leaflet included with the annual Council Tax bills. The detailed Budget reports are available to download from this page.

At the end of the financial year, the Council publishes a comprehensive Statement of Accounts detailing how money was spent. To make the financial statements easier to understand, Summary Accounts have been produced, which explain in just three pages the important information contained within the detailed statements. The full Statements and Summary Accounts can be downloaded from this page.

The Council is also considering whether or not to publish an Annual Report, which would combine performance information for the previous year with financial information from the Statement of Accounts.
