Halesworth Rifle Hall is held as part
of a charitable trust. The current Trustee of this charity is
Waveney District Council. The Council makes decisions as the
Trustee through meetings of its 48 councillors, sitting as the
Council's Charities Board.
The Charities Board decided, when it met on 11 January 2010, to
seek to transfer the trust to a new set of Trustees. The following
document and supporting information has therefore been produced in
order to enable individuals or existing organisations to make an
informed decision as to whether to apply to take over the trust
from Waveney District Council.
