Beach huts

Colourful beach huts are available for hire overlooking the stunning, award winning beach at Lowestoft. These can be hired on a daily, weekly or seasonal basis. The huts are situated between Kensington Gardens and the Claremont Pier.

The huts measure approximately 2.0m by 1.7m and are suitable as a base during the day for beach activities and changing. There are also huts specifically to cater for disabled users, situated nearest the Claremont Pier.

Two deck chairs are provided in each hut and you may take along any other provisions you may need. Small butane gas rings can be used in the huts for the provision of hot drinks, if required.

The huts overlook a mainly sandy beach, which is patrolled between May and September by RLSS qualified beach lifeguards. 

A beach officer is on duty between April and October to assist with any enquiries you may have. Full terms and conditions regarding beach hut hire are available from the Leisure Admin Team.
