What is Passport to Leisure?
Waveney District Council's Passport to Leisure is a
concessionary charging scheme which admits participants to a range
of sport and leisure related facilities at a reduced rate of
admission. The level of discount varies from facility to facility
but can be up to 50%.
Can I join this scheme?
To participate in the Passport to Leisure Scheme you must meet
one of the following criteria: you must be Registered Unemployed,
be receiving Income Support, Incapacity Benefit, Disabled, Senior
Citizen, Full-time Student, or be receiving Working Families Tax
Credit. Proof of eligibility at the time of application is
required, this is outlined on the application form.
Can I join the scheme if I live outside the district of
Waveney?
Yes, you can join the Passport to Leisure Scheme. However, the
cost of admission to the scheme is higher than that for district
residents.
Where can I use Passport to Leisure?
All sports facilities owned by Waveney District Council
including leisure centre, swimming pools, pitch and putt course,
putting greens, tennis courts, bowling greens and Bungay Sports
Centre.
How do I apply?
By completing the application form, which is available
from Marina Customer Services Cash Office, district
offices, tourist information centres and leisure centres.

The completed form must be handed in at the Marina Customer
Services Cash Office (next to the Marina Theatre), together
with proof of eligibility, a recent passport sized photograph and
fee payable to the Waveney District Council, Cash Office, Town
Hall, High Street, Lowestoft NR32 1HS.
