Waveney District Council’s Sports and Leisure Development role is
to promote access to sporting and leisure opportunities throughout
the community, for all levels of ability.
Sports development in Waveney seeks to provide a programme of
sporting opportunities aimed at teaching young people sporting
skills in a fun filled environment.
Working with various partners such as the Suffolk Sport
Partnership, Waveney District Council aims to ensure it continues
to meet with success and further increase the number of people
participating in sport and physical activity on a regular
basis.
