‘In Bloom’ is a national
environmental campaign that invites local communitites to take
pride in their local area.
Anyone can get involved and activities include gardening, planting
floral displays, cleaning and greening up streets, or participating
in larger projects for local benefit.
It is a great scheme that can help to bring people with similar
interests together, and provides the opportunity for healthy
exercise and making new friends, whilst improving your local
environment.
Recent results:
In 2007, seven awards were received from the three entrants across
Waveney. These included a Silver award for Lowestoft and Oulton
Broad, and a Silver Gilt award for Bungay.
