Street Name Plates

The district council has a duty to repair and maintain street name plates. Missing or damaged plates should be reported to the Property Services team.

Street Naming - New Developments
 
The developer is responsible for the erection of name plates to the Council’s specification. The developers propose names in consultation with local councils and subject to approval by the planning department.


Road Signs

The County Council is responsible for the erection, maintenance and repair of road signs. If you discover missing / damaged road signs (navigation / speed limit information etc.) please contact Suffolk County Council.
