Waveney District Council's Cleansing and Street Cleaning Service aims to provide residents and visitors to the district with the cleanest possible environment. It is repsonsible for sweeping and litter picking public highways, car parks, play areas and open spaces, as well as for the maintainence of the district's award-winning beaches. Officers also work with the Environmental Health Team in dealing with the consequences of environmental crimes such as graffiti, fly-posting, fly-tipping and dog fouling.
