Coastline - protection

The district of Waveney includes about 27km of coastline that extends from Corton in the north to Southwold, and there are many elements of management associated with the shoreline.
 
WDC, the Environment Agency and Lowestoft Port Authority have powers (not duties) to carry out works over parts of this frontage to manage the risk of coastal erosion.
