Council Tax Benefit is credited directly to your Council Tax
account and details will be shown on your Council Tax Demand
Notice.

Once your benefit claim has been dealt with, a new bill will be
sent to you, this will advise you of a revised installment plan. It
must be noted Council Tax installments must be continued to be paid
until you receive a revised Council Tax Demand Notice from us. In
the meantime, you should continue to pay the amounts shown on your
latest council tax bill.
If there is a subsequent change to your Council Tax Benefit due to
a change in your circumstances you will be issued with a revised
Council Tax Demand Notice and this will advise you of the amounts
that must be paid.
