Consultation Overview
At the meeting
of the Overview & Scrutiny Committee held on 16 November 2006,
it was agreed that the issue raised as to whether the Council
achieved best value in the sale of the former Council Offices at
Rectory Road should be referred to the Scrutiny Panel for Community
Engagement.
The Community Engagement Scrutiny Panel is inviting questions, with
any supporting evidence, from members of the public.
The Scrutiny Panel for Community Engagement will meet on Tuesday 30
January 2007 at 6.00pm in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Lowestoft
to consider the issues raised.
Who is consulting?
The Scrutiny Panel for Community Engagement for Waveney District
Council.
And why?
To enable members of the public to put forward questions to assist
the scrutiny review in relation to the sale of former Council
Offices at Rectory Road, Lowestoft.
