Consultation Overview
Having
consulted residents last year, the Council updated its ‘Strategic
Direction’ (or business plan) in November 2006 to help prioritise
activities and spending. The Council has made a commitment to keep
the Strategic Direction up to date by consulting residents every
year to ensure it reflects their priorities and to help with the
budget setting process.

Outcome:
Following the end
of the consultation period, the responses will be used to help
assess what changes are necessary to the current Strategic
Direction. This will then feed into our Medium Term Financial
Strategy and business planning for 2008/9.
