More details...
Who is consulting?
Waveney District Council
And why?
The plan
making system has been fundamentally changed. The Local Plan is
being replaced by a Local Development Framework. The Site Specific
Allocations is one of a number of documents which will make up the
Local Development Framework. This document will identify suitable
land for future development within Waveney up to 2021 for specific
purposes such as housing, employment, shopping and community
facilities and will be accompanied by a Proposals Map showing the
geographical areas to which policies and proposals relate. We
welcome your views on the issues and the site options put forward
in this document.
Who do they want to consult?
General Public
Government Departments
Local Residents
Local Businesses
Parish and Town Councils
Political Parties
Local strategic partnership partners
Hard to reach groups eg. young people, disabled people, ethnic
minorities
Council Staff
When is the consultation taking place?
Start Date: 30 July 2007
End Date: 24 September 2007
Outcome
Following this additional consultation,
representations received on all the site options (during both the
first and second consultation exercises) will be assessed in order
to identify the sites which the Council considers are the Preferred
Options to meet the needs of the District. The Preferred Options
will be published for consultation in January 2008.
