Developers Monitoring Fee Consultation

Consultation Overview     
Consulting on charging a monitoring fee to developers whose planning permission requires a Section 106 Agreement or Contribution (the fee would cover the work undertaken in monitoring completion of the agreements, development trigger points, individual obligation monitoring and removal of land charge).

The monitoring fee would either be
a) £150 per upfront contribution and £300 per major clause/obligation (reflective of the work undertaken in monitoring each obligation) or
b) £75 per dwelling with a charge per square metre for non-residential developments (reflective of the size of the development)

We will get an understanding of customer’s preferences for charging for monitoring planning agreements and use this data to implement a fair charging regime.
