Consultation Overview 
Following an initial Issues and Options consultation, a number of further issues were raised as being likely to influence the management of development in the District in the future. Your views on these additional issues, plus clarification on some points made in the previous consultation, are sought in an additional 8-week consultation period.  More details…


Who is consulting?
Waveney District Council.
And why? 
The plan making system has been fundamentally changed. The Local Plan is being replaced by a Local Development Framework. Development Management Policies is one of a number of documents which will make up the Local Development Framework. This document will set out criteria based policies against which planning applications will be assessed. Following an initial Issues and Options consultation, a number of further issues were raised as being likely to influence the management of development in the District in the future. We welcome your views on these further issues and options.

When is the consultation taking place?
Start Date:  30 July 2007
End Date:  24 September 2007
 

Outcome 
Following this additional consultation, representations received (during both the first and second consultation exercises) will be assessed by the Council before publishing its Preferred Options for consultation in January 2008.
