Consultation Overview
Government guidance
suggests that conservation areas should be reappraised and a
management plan produced every five years. This has been reinforced
by the introduction of a best value performance indicator. This
appraisal and management plan is part of a rolling programme of
such works being carried out by Waveney District Council and
supports the Councils strategic direction in respect of
environment, regeneration community safety and health & well
being.
Following the initial consultation, the document has
been amended to include a proposed extension to the Conservation
Area. The opportunity is also being used to include information on
possible spot listing previously displayed at the public exhibition
on 26/7th September 2006.
