The non-domestic rating multiplier is the amount by which the
rateable value of a property is multiplied to produce the year's
rates bill. It is set each year by the Government and it cannot
rise by more than the retail price index, except in a year when all
rateable values are being re-valued.
For 2007/8 the multiplier has been set at 0.444p
and for Small Business Rate Relief is set at 0.441p
